Michael Blumentrath
Michael has called Nanaimo home for the past 17 years, fulfilling his long-time dream of living on Vancouver Island. Since settling here, he has become an active part of the local soccer community, serving on the board of Nanaimo United FC and coaching for more than a decade. Outside of work, most of his time is spent with his four children, who are homeschooled and involved in both soccer and music. He enjoys the strong sense of community in Nanaimo and appreciates the lifestyle the Island offers: family-focused, active, and connected.
Michael has spent most of his career being self-employed and working in hands-on, customer-focused roles, which shaped his commitment to doing quality work and treating people with honesty and respect. He joined Ideal Siding because its focus on good workmanship, fair pricing, and real accountability aligned with the values he already lived by. Michael takes pride in being reliable and keeping his word, and he brings that same mindset to every project.
