Walter Gilmore
Walter has called Northwest Calgary home since 2007, living in communities such as Silver Springs and Sage Hill. He loves the area for its great restaurants, family-friendly feel, and the easy access to the mountains. Outside of work, Walter volunteers as a coach for his son’s hockey team and enjoys spending time with his wife, their three kids Adeline, Hunter, and Evelyn, and their two dogs, Nova and Molly. He is passionate about sports, especially football, hockey, and golf, and still plays whenever he can. Whether he is cooking for friends or exploring new local restaurants, Walter enjoys making memories with the people who matter most.
Walter’s path to Ideal Siding grew from a blend of hands-on trade experience and years spent in customer-focused roles. After managing restaurants across Calgary, he transitioned into construction by helping his family reside rental properties and eventually becoming a full-time siding installer alongside his father. Through that work, he saw firsthand how important clear communication and quality craftsmanship are for homeowners. At Ideal Siding Calgary, Walter brings strong customer service instincts, a detail-oriented approach, and a commitment to doing the job right from start to finish. His priority is simple: the work is only complete when the homeowner is fully satisfied.
