Rick McCarthy
Rick has deep roots in Boulder, having lived here for most of his life. After earning his business degree from the University of Colorado, Rick stayed connected to the community through his children’s schools and by serving on the CU Boulder Chancellor’s Global Ambassador’s Advisory Board. He appreciates Boulder’s natural beauty, mountain views, neighborhood parks, the Pearl Street Mall, and the endless hiking trails. Rick and his wife Wendy share five wonderful children, and when he’s not working, he enjoys building everything from homes to cars, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
Rick spent 25 years as a management consultant, leading major transformation projects, but he always stayed close to the construction industry. With more than two decades of hands-on building experience and a strong background in customer experience and process improvement, Ideal Siding felt like the perfect fit. Rick enjoys guiding homeowners through exterior upgrades, sharing the knowledge he has gained from a lifetime of home improvement, and ensuring every project is completed with care and craftsmanship.
